The life of a blind warrior

[Elmstream]

No school, no roleplays, nothing to do, so I'm making a story. It's mostly about two of my roleplay characters, Oakkit and Elmkit, but there's others in it too.

Leader:
Fallenstar - Black tom with white tailtip and paws.

Medicine cat:
Swiftstream - Black tom with white tailtip

Deputy:
Pinefur - light brown she-cat with black speckles.

Warriors:
Fawnfur - light brown she-cat with white spots on her back.
Whiteface - Grey tom with a pure white face.

Kits:
Wavekit - small grey blue tom
Oakkit- dark brown she-kit
Elmkit- blind grey she-kit

I stumbled out of the nursery, fourth time I had done so that day. It's not that I was a clumsy kit, but being blind made it so I had limits. I quickly picked myself up, turning as I heard Wavekit come out behind me. The little tom was my only friend, my sister Oakkit tended to pick on me.
Elmkit, did you fall outta the nursery again?
Wavekit always made me smile, and I nodded my head. I couldn't see him of course, but I knew he must be a cute kit.
Of course she did, she can't do anything right!
The voice was Oakkit's, and I bowed my head, my tail drooping a little. When ever I did anything wrong, she was sure to be there, telling me how stupid and clumsy I was. I couldn't help it.
Oakkit! Leave Elmkit alone. She can too do stuff right!
Wavekit hissed at my sister, and I could picture him fluffing out his fur. I felt him brush his pelt against mine, and looked away in embaressment. I heard Oakkit leave, no doubt to torment Fallenstar.
We're gonna be aprentinced soon!
Wavekit couldn't hold in his excitment. We had different mothers, sure, but we were born around the same time.
I know! I hope Fawnfur's my mentor.
I screwed up my face, making Wavekit let out a 'mrrow' of amusement. I always did like the gentle queen. She was patient and would no doubt make a good warrior of a blind kit like myself.
Elmkit, the sun's setting.
Wavekit pulled me out of my thoughts, and I raised my head to look at the sky. Wavekit still sat beside me, and we both lay down, the young tom rolling onto his back.
What's it look like?
I had to ask. I never saw a sunset, but the others always said it was beautiful.
It's pretty! All kinds of oranges and reds and pinks...
Wavekit sighed and turned to look at me.
Um, what's orange?
I asked the question, and we both laughed.

We became apprentinces the next day. I got my wish, Fawnfur was my mentor. Pinefur got Oakpaw, and Wavepaw went to Whiteface. Oakpaw and I went out hunting near Riverclan, close to the gorge.
Elmpaw, com here, there's nice plump mice!
Oakpaw called to me from the edge of the gorge. I knew that's where she was. She'd probably want me to look over it, and scare me by doing something stupid. I sighed and walked over to her, sitting far enough away from the gorge.
Don't be a kit, come look!
My fur bristled but I walked over, digging my claws into the earth. She was going to try something, I just knew it. I stuck my head over anyway, of course seeing nothing but the darkness that I always saw.
I felt Oakpaw come up behind me, and place her paws on my back. Before I knew it she tried to push me over the gorge, which would kill a young cat like myself. I flung myself backwards, pushing Oakpaw over the edge accidentaly.
Oakpaw!
The only response I got was her fading yowl as she hit the water below. I heard a splash, and knew that she had hit the water. Being young and not knowing how to swim, she of course had drowned.
